Visit of RIMINI, Renaissance capital and seat of the Malatesta. Lunch in a restaurant in Villa Verucchio with typical cuisine. Afternoon transfer by the car of 25/27 km for free visit to the Rock of one of the most beautiful towns in Italy, the famous fortress of SAN LEO (entrance to the fortress included). The medieval fortress is situated 583 meters sea level, in the Val Marecchia, on a huge boulder around impassable; it is accessed by a single road cut into the rock. On the highest point of the spur rises the impregnable Fort. The ancient city that was the capital of the county of Montefeltro and theater of civil and military battles for about two millennia, also assumed the title of Capital of Italy. The city hosted Dante and St. Francis of Assisi, who received the gift of the Monte della Verna from Count Orlando of Chiusi in Casentino.
